Vallouise - Pelvoux, a high mountain commune in the heart of the Ecrins National Park, is the result of the merger of two villages, Vallouise and Pelvoux. Winter and summer alike, you will find something to keep you busy.

In addition to being an internationally famous mountaineering site thanks to its well-known peaks, such as the Barre des Écrins, Pelvoux and Ailefroide, Vallouise - Pelvoux is also a paradise for hikers in summer with its kilometres of marked trails, whitewater enthusiasts with its streams of the Gyr, Onde and Gyronde which surround villages and hamlets.

There are many facilities and various activities, whether sporting or not: discovery of the Parc national des Ecrins, village tours and sundials, hiking, mountain biking, paragliding, fishing, white water sports, skiing (alpine, Nordic).

In winter, you can cross country ski on the slopes of the Nordic Vallouise ski area or take a snowshoe hike.
