About

On either side of the Durance, at the gates of Briançon (a UNESCO classified site), Saint-Martin-de-Queyrières is the largest municipality in the Pays des Écrins, which extends in a succession of 8 picturesque villages (Sainte-Marguerite, Queyrières, Saint-Martin-de-Queyrières, Le Villaret, Sachas, Prelles, Bouchier, Villard-Meyer) with a rich and varied heritage.

A town with a flourishing past, Saint-Martin-de-Queyrières was a stopover on the roads leading to Santiago de Compostela from Turin.

A link between the valleys of Serre Chevalier and Les Ecrins, Saint-Martin-de-Queyrière is a pleasant place to live in the heart of the mountain ranges of Les Ecrins and Queyras.

Saint-Martin-de-Queyrières is a very large town (more than 55 km2): activities, mountain recreation, school, living environment, proximity to Briançon and the ski resorts.
