La Bois’Cyclerie is a materials library: it collects and repurposes reclaimed wood (planks, panels, battens, etc.), restores it and makes it available for purchase or donation, whilst also running creative workshops.

Based in Faverges-Seythenex, La Bois’Cyclerie has established itself as a local organisation committed to environmental and social transition. Recognised as being in the public interest, this re-use centre collects wood materials from both private individuals and businesses, then refurbishes them with the help of young people and adults who are either on supported employment schemes or living with disabilities. Planks, panels, battens and ready-made items are given a new lease of life — for interior design, DIY or craft projects.
In addition to selling by weight and providing access to stock for its members, the association runs woodworking workshops: whether with family, friends or on your own, anyone can make a birdhouse, a coffee table or a decorative item, under the guidance of a professional. These workshops combine creativity, manual skills and raising awareness of the circular economy.
