Exquisite cuisine in a fantastic location on the shores of Lake Nantua gives this family run establishment its excellent reputation. Come and try our famous “gratin du lac” tasty sliced quenelle with Nantua sauce cooked in a wood fire oven.


Opened in 1999 the Chez le Père Durdu is a traditional family run restaurant. The menu includes several local delicacies such as quenelle de brochet and fillet of Zander. The restaurant has 2 dining areas one that seats 60 patrons the other which accommodates 40. In addition there is a terrace that looks out on to Lake Nantua that has room for 90 people, ideal for eating out in summer time!
