Starting in the heart of the Drôme and heading toward the Ardèche, experience the Tour Auvergne Rhône Alpes by taking the route between Charmes-sur-l’Herbasse and the Col du Marchand (Stage 2), on a hilly course that puts your legs to the test.
On June 8, 2026, the second stage of the Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes ran from Saint-Martin-le-Vinoux (Isère) to Le Puy-en-Velay (Haute-Loire), passing through Ardèche Hermitage.
To follow in the riders’ footsteps, you’ll cross the Drôme region via Charmes-sur-l’Herbasse, Saint-Donat-sur-l’Herbasse, and Mercurol-Veaunes, before crossing the Rhône between Tain-l’Hermitage and Tournon-sur-Rhône.
The route then continues into the Ardèche, passing through Colombier-le-Vieux and the village of Saint-Félicien, before the climb up the Col Robert Marchand, the highlight of this journey.
A challenging and comprehensive route, representative of the region’s diversity.
