This route takes you through northern Drôme-Ardèche, a region with diverse landscapes that is well worth taking the time to explore. It winds through the Hermitage hillsides, then the Galaure Valley, before reaching Hauterives and its remarkable “Palais Idéal” by Postman Cheval. The route then continues toward the hills of Pilat National Park, passing through the Ardèche region again, before descending toward Saint-Félicien via Saint-Bonnet-le-Froid, a village renowned for its cuisine.
