Description

Tain, rive gauche, la Drômoise. Its renown comes mainly from its Valrhona chocolate, cherished by all pastry chefs, but above all for its wine, Hermitage, on the eponymous hill.

After a stroll along the Rhône, you'll head for the Hermitage hill. The route follows the interpretation trail around the appellation, where you can learn more about the Détours en vignes application. While the ascent is wooded to avoid heatstroke, when you reach the summit, you change universe as you enter the wine-growing hillside. The passage by the Chapelle St Christophe is the real highlight of this route. Watch out for the technical descent at the end.
