Routes

Description

Go up through the ski slopes to the Rayée and then down through the forest to the chapel of Notre Dame de la Creuse then join the Col du Haut de la côte by the Xetté forest. Then go into the Urson forest by the Petite Poussière and the large lawns up to the Basse du rôle (be careful, follow the markings on the wildest part of the forest). Then cross the Phény gap (hamlet) to the Mérelle tower (tower with a view of the lake) before descending to the south shore of the lake, before passing through Gérardmer and the final climb to La Mauselaine via the Roche du Rain (viewpoint).

The route alternates between tracks and technical paths with more "rolling" paths through the Vosges beech forest and the "écarts" (hamlets) of Gérardmer.

It is essential that we respect the work of the farmers, other operators and owners who welcome us to their land:

In order to prevent the herds from escaping, close all the electric fences and do not damage them!

Also, do not disturb the herds, greet people with a friendly "hello", and of course take back all your rubbish! Don't cut routes through the meadows, don't picnic either!
