An easy circuit on a minor road and forest track starting from the family-friendly resort of Pelvoux-Vallouise.

This easy route joins the Gyr river, which flows from the glaciers, while skirting the resort's snow front. You climb up the right bank of the river to the Gyr gorges. Equipped with a via ferrata, this rocky outcrop also overlooks the hydroelectric power museum at Les Claux.
