Summer MTB Derby from la Croix de Chamrousse

The Chamrousse MTB Derby is one of the stages of the "Trophée Enduro des Alpes". This enduro mountain bike circuit brings together several stages in the direct vicinity of Grenoble, with one stage for each massif: Belledonne, Vercors and Taillefer.

Program
Saturday - special stages (qualifying day)
- From 10 a.m.: 6 enduro stages at the Chamrousse Bike Park with 3500m of D- and 220m of D (3 stages open at the same time, with each competitor completing 2 runs).
- 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.: afterparty next to the gondola to collect stickers for the next day's starting waves, unofficial qualifying race podium, DJ and takeaway beers from nearby bars.

Sunday - mass-start (competition)
- From 9:30 am: mass-start from the top of the resort's ski area to the Croix de Chamrousse in waves of 30, then 13 km and 1800 m D- non-stop, finishing in the Parc d'Uriage. The 1st down wins!
- 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: Progressive arrival of participants in the park, with bike-washing area (until 12 p.m.) and refreshment area (until 1 p.m.).
- 11:30 a.m.: prize-giving ceremony attended by local councillors
- 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.: return bus station for participants (mountain bikes remain downstairs)
- 2pm: end of Derby
- 3pm: start of draisienne race in Uriage park


This event is intended to be festive and friendly, and is open to everyone aged 16 and over, and to those aged 14 and over who are licensed to ride mountain bikes in competition.

⚠ Domaine VTT de Chamrousse closed to customers and reserved for Derby VTT competition on Saturday all day and Sunday until 10:30 am.

A shuttle service (rental buses, trailers and trucks) will be provided by the organization to take riders back to their cars to the Chamrousse resort on Saturday afternoon after the qualifying rounds and on Sunday after the derby. This non-compulsory shuttle service is offered at €10 per rotation. It is entirely possible for drivers to make their own arrangements to return to the resort after each day.
