An Ultra Trail exclusively in the mountains!
The 12th edition of the Ultra Traversée de Belledonne will pass through several points of interest in Chamrousse in 2024.
Description
L'Echappée Belle intégrale, 152 km and 11,390 m of ascent, solo or duo, from Vizille to Aiguebelle, for a complete crossing of the Belledonne massif. With more than 40 consecutive km at over 2000 m, and a minimum of valley descents, this technical and committed trail offers a unique experience. A trail for experienced trail runners with mountain feet!
Running schedule :
- First start at 5 a.m.: Vizille
- Refreshment point no. 1: Plateau de l'Arselle - Chamrousse 1600
- Intermediate sections: Lac Achard, Col de l'Infernet, Col de la Botte, Col des Leyssines, Lac Robert and Lac David
- Refreshment point no. 2: refuge de la Pra

Spectator program :
- Come and cheer on the runners as they pass close to the Croix de Chamrousse, on the Col de la Botte (paying access via the Croix cable car to Chamrousse 1650 - Recoin, then a 10-minute walk).
L'Échappée Belle offers 3 exceptional routes, linking Isère and Savoie, through the Belledonne massif:
1) Échappée Belle intégrale: 152 km and 11,390 m D+, solo or duo, from Vizille to Aiguebelle
2) Traversée Nord: 92 km and 6,740 m D+ solo from Fond-de-France to Aiguebelle (new route)
3) Parcours des Crêtes: 63 km and 4,770 m D+ from Allevard to Aiguebelle
+ Skyrace du Rocher Blanc: 21 km and 2,000 m D+ from Fond-de-France (Haut-Bréda)
Much more than an ultra-trail, it's an adventure... To preserve the friendly nature of the race, the number of places is limited to 500 per race (+ 100 places for the 152km duos).
Registration opens in January on the event website! For the Échappée Belle Intégrale solo and duo, the Traversée Nord and the Parcours des crêtes, the results of the draw will be announced in early February. Registration for the Skyrace is by application.
