It is situated on three levels: Chamrousse 1650 - Recoin, Chamrousse 1700 - Bachat Bouloud and Chamrousse 1750 - Roche Béranger linked by slopes and forest paths, with the Croix de Chamrousse at an altitude of 2250 metres as its highest point.
