Residence Vacancéole - Les Écrins d'Auris

Located in Auris-en-Oisans, in the Grandes Rousses mountain range, the Vacancéole Les Écrins d’Auris*** resort is situated in the heart of the town, at an altitude of approximately 1,600 meters. Just a 5-minute walk from the center and close to shops and restaurants, it offers direct access to the Alpe d’Huez Grand Domaine ski area, which features a total of 250 km of trails at altitudes ranging from 1,250 m to 3,330 m. The “ski-in, ski-out” access makes it easy to reach the ski lifts in a south-facing mountain setting.

The residence offers apartments that can accommodate 4 to 8 people. All units feature a balcony or terrace, some with mountain views. One ski locker per unit and a secure bike storage room are available. The residence features a heated indoor pool with a shallow and deep end, as well as a steam room and sauna, all with free access. Free covered parking is provided, along with raclette and fondue sets available for loan and discounted rates on ski passes and equipment rentals.

In summer, the destination offers direct access to hiking trails leading to the hamlet of Les Cours and the Écrins National Park, as well as outdoor activities such as paragliding, canyoning, and rafting. Cultural and culinary experiences round out the stay, such as the Saint-Géraud lookout point or exploring local products.

In winter, the Alpe d’Huez ski area offers 250 km of slopes, downhill skiing, and steep descents, complemented by activities such as dog sledding, snowshoeing at the Col de Maronne, or a visit to the Alpe d’Huez ice cave. The resort also hosts major events, including the Tomorrowland Winter festival.
