The Urbia route begins in the centre of the Trail Running Resort.

It begins in the opposite direction to the final descent of the Zegama-Aizkorri marathon up to Oazurtza. At this point, the trail takes us to the right along the GR-34 to Eskista. In Eskista (a refuge in the shape of a half cylinder), we veer off to the left to the inn and the hermitage of Urbia. At this point, we turn left and take the route of the Zegama-Aizkorri marathon in the direction of Andraitz. From the top of Andraitz we descend to Zegama along the marathon route descending the last section from Oazurtza the same way we climbed.
Many sections of the route are marked with the yellow dots of the Zegama-Aizkorri marathon, the red and white markings of the GR and the signs of the Trail Station. However, for your safety, the use of a GPS is compulsory. The weather can change quickly which could lead to you getting lost in the mist. With snow or in bad weather, some of the markings will not be visible.
