On traverse le village pour rejoindre une petite route qui serpente dans le ravin de la Grave et permet de prendre du dénivelé facilement. Aux Trois Bastides on emprunte une partie du PR de la chapelle Saint-Joseph et au croisement de la piste on prend à droite pour rejoindre la Bastide blanche par une longue piste roulante en faux plat qui offre un beau panorama sur la vallée de la Durance. Ensuite, c’est la descente sur des sentiers forestiers raides. On commence d’ailleurs par la traversée d’une sombre hêtraie dans une ambiance assez magique.
