Route information :

The departure is located at the arrival station of the Artouste train.

You get out of the train and go to the lake dam, which you cross. As soon as you leave the dam, a small path going up on your right leads you to the lakes of Batboucou, in a wild and mineral circus.

The progression is there difficult, the very rocky portion (important chaos) until the Col de la Lie, then between this pass and the refuge of Larribet where the path is guessed with the wire of the cairns. This part of the route is engaged, mountainous, and strongly discouraged in case of bad visibility.

Part of this route is located in the heart of the park. We ask you to respect scrupulously the instructions of the National Park.

Our presence here is exceptional, just like the environment you will be passing through, our conduct must be irreproachable.

Through our practice, it is essential to respect the work of the farmers, other operators and owners who welcome us on their land :

So that the herds don't escape, close all the electric fences well and don't damage them!

Also, do not disturb the herds, greet the people you meet with a friendly "hello", and of course bring back all your rubbish! Do not cut the routes through the meadows, and do not picnic either!
